Black Panther- Case study 

 

Black Panther Production Company was Marvel studies. Marvel Studios produced the movie and Walt Disney Motion Pictures distributed the film. The Cast includes: Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Martin Freeman, Andy Serkis etc.  Chadwick Boseman played the protagonist Black Panther in Black Panther. Before the movie was officially released, the executive producer was discussing with his peers who he felt would be best suitable for Black Panther and they came up with the conclusion of Chadwick Boseman due to his success in movies such as “In 42” and “Get On Top”, and how he managed to play those characters excellently. Chadwick Boseman received an estimated payment of 5 million which is a pretty small payment for an Avengers actor. Similarly, Michael B. Jordan was considered to play Erik Killmonger due to his dedication, work ethic and success with other movies such as Creed. Furthermore, Michael B. Jordan only got paid 1 million for Black Panther. Lupita Nyong'o also played Nakia in Black panther.  She was considered for the role of Nakia also due to how great of an actress she was. This was proven by the Oscar award she has won recently. Moreover, Martin Freeman played Everett K. Ross. Martin Freeman is a well-established actor so him being picked for Black Panther was a no brainer and as a result he got an estimated payment of 58 million for Black panther.  Also, Andy Serkis was a well-established actor as well so he was immediately picked for Black Panther and played Klaw. He was also paid roughly 58 million.
